Silvia Hallová

Silvia has over 21 years of experience in the field of tax advisory. She is a managing partner and the partner responsible for the tax department at Grant Thornton Slovakia. Before joining Grant Thornton, she worked for other tax advisory firms, including a Big Four company.

She also has extensive experience in tax advisory, structuring, and advising foreign clients on their acquisitions in Slovakia. She was seconded to the international tax law competence center in Nuremberg, where she provided tax advice to various international clients. She offers a wide range of services in tax advisory, including cross-border taxation, due diligence, corporate reorganizations, transfer pricing, and tax planning. Her clients include both domestic and international companies across various industries. She specializes in tax advisory for companies operating in the financial sector. In her previous position at a Big Four company, she led tax advisory services for clients in the financial services sector.

Silvia is a licensed tax advisor. She completed a two-year LL.M. program in International Tax Law at the Vienna University of Economics and Business. In addition, she holds IFRS qualifications and speaks English and German fluently. She is a member of the Presidium of the Slovak Chamber of Tax Advisors and also serves on the Methodological and Legislative Committee for Corporate Income Tax at the Slovak Chamber of Tax Advisors, as well as being the Slovak Chamber of Tax Advisors’ representative in the European Association of Tax Advisers for Direct Taxes in Brussels. Silvia completed the “Senior Leadership” program at Harvard Business School in Boston, USA.
