Martina is a Partner at Grant Thornton, where she has been working since 2008. Within the group, she also serves as Group CFO and is a member of the regional board responsible for regional management and implementation of the integration strategy.
She has many years of experience in taxation and accounting. Her client portfolio covers a wide range of industries, including manufacturing companies, service providers, traders, and real estate developers. In the area of taxation, she has been responsible for preparing tax returns, calculating deferred taxes, and resolving various tax issues. She specializes in income tax, VAT, and other local taxes. In the area of controlling, Martina focuses on specific types of reporting according to individual client requirements, primarily focusing on compliance with local regulations and their transformation to US GAAP and IFRS.
Martina graduated in 2011. She is a member of the Chamber of Tax Advisors. She actively participates in tax courses organized by the Slovak Chamber of Tax Advisors. Every year, she also completes selected international tax courses and training focused on local and international accounting standards.
