Monika is a Director at Grant Thornton. She has years of experience in financial management, accounting, and financial reporting in an international environment.
Before joining Grant Thornton, she gained extensive professional experience in multinational companies, shared service centers, and the Big4 environment. She worked in the areas of auditing, accounting, and financial management, where she was responsible for financial processes and reporting for several countries in Central and Eastern Europe. During her career, she has also been involved in implementing new financial systems, setting up accounting procedures and resolving complex accounting issues in accordance with international standards.
Monika graduated from the University of Economics in Bratislava, Faculty of National Economy, specializing in banking, finance, and investments. She is a certified auditor of the Slovak Chamber of Auditors and holds ACCA qualifications, having been an FCCA member since 2015. She is fluent in English, including professional and business terminology.
