Mirka works as a manager at Grant Thornton Slovakia, focusing on taxation. She specializes primarily in tax consulting in the area of transfer pricing, while also having extensive experience with corporate income tax, value added tax, and legal tax issues in both international and domestic contexts. She has been working in the field of taxation for more than 6 years and is a tax advisor.

Her practice focuses primarily on advising and managing tax projects related to cross-border and domestic transactions in various industries. She is responsible for preparing transfer pricing documentation, including economic analyses, functional and risk analyses, selection and justification of appropriate transfer pricing methods, benchmark studies, and calculation of the normal profit margin in accordance with Slovak transfer pricing legislation and OECD guidelines. She also provides advice on setting up business models for international companies.

Mirka has experience in dealing with tax audits according to client requirements and preparing appeals against tax administrator decisions. Her work also includes preparing and reviewing legal contracts according to client needs. Within the tax department, she leads junior and senior consultants, particularly in the area of transfer pricing, and contributes to their professional development through task delegation and mentoring. She also acts as a contact person for clients according to her assigned portfolio or according to the partner's instructions.

Mirka graduated from the Faculty of Law at Comenius University in Bratislava. She also completed an advanced course in transfer pricing at the Vienna University of Economics and Business. She works using Slovak, English, and German.
